OUR STORY
Our social project started in 1991 with a group of boys that happened to be the first rap and dance group of our small city, São Carlos, SP. They were looking for a place to rehearse because, at that time, it was hard to find people that understood what they were doing and that accepted Hip-Hop culture as an art form. So our academy was the first place that welcomed them.
For the past 30 years, this project has been going on with different teachers and has welcomed more than 1500 youngsters who join us to learn Hip-Hop dance and be part of a dance community or, as we call it, a dance family. In addition, we have performed in many places in our city and nearby, produced dance videos, and have done all that we can to support the local community and advance the cause of social justice, equality, and self-empowerment through dance, emphasizing Hip Hop.
