OUR STORY
Our social project started in 1991 with a group of boys that happened to be the first rap and dance group of our small city, São Carlos, SP. They were looking for a place to rehearse because, at that time, it was hard to find people that understood what they were doing and that accepted Hip-Hop culture as an art form. So our academy was the first place that welcomed them.
For 30 years, this project happened with different teachers and welcomed more than 2000 youngsters who joined us to learn Hip-Hop dance and be part of a dance community or, as we call it, a dance family. In addition, we performed in many places in our city and nearby, produced dance videos, and did all that we can to support the local community and advance the cause of social justice, equality, and self-empowerment through dance, emphasizing Hip Hop.
